What We Believe

Statement of Faith

WE BELIEVE …

1.) The Bible is the infallible and Living Word of God. All scripture is inspired by God, and must be used to prepare men and women to live a life pleasing to God.

2.) There is one true and living God, who is the Maker, Sustainer, and King of all things. He is eternal and is revealed to us as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE …

3.) The Father is creator of all heavens and earth. He is the Supreme and all-powerful Ruler of the universe. He saves from sin all who come to Him through Jesus Christ; He adopts them as His own and He becomes, upon adoption, Father to His own.

4.) Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son, born of the virgin Mary, lived on earth and died on a cross, was resurrected three days later, ascended into the heavens, and is now an advocate before the throne of God for mankind, and by Him we have the only access to salvation. He will return again in glory to judge the living and the dead.

5.) The Holy Spirit is the Comforter from heaven. He enables and empowers men and women to live in harmony with the Will of God by transforming believers into the likeness of Christ.

WE BELIEVE …

6.) Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace. It cannot be secured by good works, but is given freely by all who place their trust in Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Bible, as a sacrifice, and that all who believe on Him are redeemed and restored by His blood.

7.) The body of Christ is the family of true believers in heaven and on earth whom allow Jesus Christ to reign as Lord of their lives. All true believers are spiritually baptized by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ and are spiritually united with Him and one another. We believe that it is our privilege and responsibility to minister in the Name of Jesus to the brokenhearted, captives, spiritually blind, bruised, hurting and abused.

WE BELIEVE …

8.) Christian baptism is a public declaration of the believer’s faith in Christ, identifying with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection symbolized by immersion in water.

The Lord’s Supper is the remembrance by believers of Christ’s death until He comes again.

9.) All the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are therefore safe in Christ forever.

10.) Jesus will reign on the earth and His Kingdom will be characterized by harmony, peace, righteousness and long life. We believe that the heavenly city will come down out of heaven and will be the dwelling place of all believers and we will enjoy fellowship with God and one another through out all eternity.
